Die Transfer
Q: What is Die-Tech's Die Transfer Process?
A:
Die-Tech's Principles of Die Transfer Activity:
- Simplicity in process, forms, and terms -- eliminates the typical hassles of transferring tools
- Expect worse case with progressive dies -- no hassles asking for information customer does not have, no fees or charges for tooling or re-tooling existing precision metal stamped products, no die drawings needed, no preventive maintenance schedules needed
- Gross Margin Dollars approach -- no hassle in quoting, total buy current to total buy new, material + apportioned gross margin dollars per unit, metal adders calculated for commodity shifts from base cost (Cu, Ni, Au, etc.)
- Total Package -- no cherry picking, no bid if majority of work is a stretch for Die-Tech technical capacity, Long Term Stamping Agreement
- Decision Makers -- Senior Executives must be in contact with Die-Tech President, okay for mid-level managers to develop numbers and details of the deal
Take a look at our Die Transfer Data Grid to understand what kind of data we will need to help us decide if transfering your dies to Die-Tech will be a good fit.
