This video shows the process of taking raw material from a reel through feed stations into a 32-ton press that contains a progressive die. The die cuts and forms the raw material into the finished precision metal stamping which is a hybrid edge clip with solder in the clip area.The finished product is produced on a continuous carrier strip and rolled onto reels so the OEM can use it in an automated assembly process.
